It is a perfect combination for cholas.
Estimated cooking time : 60 mins and 8 hours of overnight preparation.
IngredientsAll-purpose Flour - 250 gm
Curd - 100 gm
Cooking oil - 1 cup (medium sized)
PreparationMix curd into maida and knead it well to make a soft dough.Keep it overnight covered with wet cloth. Let it ferment well.
For deep Frying
- Make small balls from dough.
- Roll the balls and flat them into oval or round shape.
- Deep fry these round shape called bathura using perforated spoon or jharani.
- Once the bhaturas are puffed, remove excess oil using perforated spoon.
Storage Tips - Must be consumed within 1 day of preparation.
